Reading

Everett wrote Chosen: A Call to Leading with Purpose for the leader looking to develop their understanding of themselves. We often don’t stop to think about what we represent and how to guide ourselves as we are plagued by the business of commitments and obligations, yet the impact it has on those we lead requires this reflection.

This book is designed to provide you with the framework needed to dive into some of these issues. It’s written to invite you on a journey that visits with successful leaders from various industries who understand what they are called to do and share promising practices. In addition, it will examine the connection between purpose and leading effectively as you will read about my first-hand experiences and lessons learned from leading an assortment of teams for over eighteen years. Everett’s goal is to help you understand your reason for being (ie. your purpose) as you develop career aspirations, make life choices, and pursue new endeavors.
